One more thing is AI always gets multiple doubles to end the game so you do not complete a backgammon. Cheating is brutal. AI ALWAYS gets the rolls it needs. But if u are on the bar with only one or two openings you will not get that number until the AI has all but two or three pieces left. On hundreds of games, I require over 4 rolls to get off the bar yet the AI gets on in 1.64 rolls on average. NOT right.

I have played a lot of online backgammon and Ive never seen dice cooperate with an opponent as much as Ive seen with this app. The makers explanation of how it uses advanced algorithms to bring about random dice just doesnt jibe with the incredible ability of the computer opponent to get the perfect rolls when it needs them. I will be looking for another backgammon app. My only explanation for this app is it must have been created by Apple to get people to smash their IPhones in frustration .

Awesome program, ppl who say it cheats dont understand backgammon

Having people quit in the middle of the game is a waste of my time. I would like to see each player given an "abandonment rating" or something indicating the percentage a player is quitting before the game is done. I would be less likely to play a match against someone with a low score (if it existed). Theres the fix, implement that and you will make me a fan again.

It would be a great game if it wasnt so blatantly obvious the computer gets the favourable rolls when it needs it. Dont waste your money on this fraud of a game!!

This app cheats. Very frustrating. Sorry I paid for it.

The Only backgammon app to use GNU. If you never played backgammon at high level you will definitely get upset losing to the expert level. Stop blaming the dice and try to understand the probabilities. This app will make you become a better player. I played over a 10000 points on backgammon NJ and the dice is not a factor in the long run.

Very nice playing game, but cheats like crazy. Use manual dice throws.

This app does not cheat u silly people. Anyways, it has made me a much better player. I get together with a friend every Friday night. My friend rarely beats me these days. Changes the way u view the board completely. Patterns etc. I actually thought I was good at this game until this app. Great stuff !!

This app is only good for people who can handle losing to an expert. This game is based upon probabilities and the expert level always plays in a way that takes that into account . Overall it is an excellent backgammon experience .

The computer consistently rolls 5s (or other doubles) 95% of the time it uses the doubling cube on hard mode. The higher skill levels just give the computer better rolls. Either way, its still a fun & solid practice game

I wanted to find a backgammon game that was visually appealing, smart, flexible, and fast. This game has it all. I tried a few others and they were all rather lame-brained compared to this one. You get a wealth of stats on your playing, and in just a few days by asking for the odd hint and watching what the app does with certain spins, I have increased my rating from 1200 to 1600 and fought my away back to more than 50% wins at the Hard level. I cant really imagine how this game could be improved. Think it cheats on the initial rolls? Theres an option to swap the first rolls with you. Just one more little touch in an excellent app, by far the best one in the Apple App Store.

Ive tried several, but this one has all the playability - plus bells and whistles if you like them. Easier than setting up a board!

The AI rolls/moves are not completely random. They might be randomized with given probabilities (ie odds in AIs favour) which makes playing a fair game difficult and frustrating. I would certainly not recommend that anyone spend any money on this game.

The best backgammon game in the app store!

The online play is flawed by cheaters. Even after the latest update. All you have to do is wait for the advantage to be in your favor and let the game time out. You will win the points. Too bad it ruins the online play and there are so many jerky cheaters. Sorry to the developers but there has to be a way to fix this.
