Love the game.

Your emotions will tell you it us cheating, but your brain will understand it isnt. It is fantastic fun - my go-to game. If I were a psychologist Id be using it to explore how the mind gauges risk. It makes clear the real power of even slightly better risk assessment.

Ive been playing backgammon for many years and am a veteran of FIBS (First Internet Backgammon Server). This is a great tool to learn and stay sharp.

Due to some bad reviews I thought that this game would be unfair... Im glad to say that the dice rolls are quite fair.... Buy this game... You will love it!!!

A little too lucky too often, but definitely a good challenge at expert.

This is an excellent implementation of Backgammon. Ive been losing more than Ive been winning at the "Hard" single player level, which is fine by me -- the game is challenging and its teaching me to be a better player. The multi-player mode is great, but better controls are needed to penalize players who abandon games just prior to losing. I look forward to the updates to this game.

This game cheats without question. Beyond ridiculous.

Most bad reviews complain that the AI is cheating. It isnt. The pregame calculated rolls though are getting stacked in the AIs favor though. This is the only way it can "cheat" when you are given the next 100 rolls. The average amount of rolls in a game can be calculated. The amount of consecutive doubles in the average bearoff range can be skewed (though when the overall game average is shown it looks possible). The amount of perfect following coverup rolls can be skewed in a players favor. Look, I have probably played close to a thousand games on this and find it extremely frustrating, but, its supposed to be on expert. Its the nightmare game scenario. Its supposed to be. I dont like it either, but, its supposed to be. When you have played that many games as I have, you see and know the patterns. They are almost predictable. Try manually rolling a game with your own dice and using this game if you want to. See if it helps. The times I did it made a small difference.

Although it can be frustrating at times, that is really a testament to the quality of the software programming, which does not cheat. This the best game on the web.

The game consistently gets incredible rolls. And I consistently dont. Theres no way to assess winning rolls based on simple roll stats. The program consistently gets good rolls. And I dont.

Excellent. Super difficult on Expert, but thats the point.

If you want a fair match, you should probably look at the upcoming rolls also. Otherwise, prepare to be stunned at the "bold" moves of the computer. But dont make the mistake of being equally bold!

To many doubles in each game played. Doubles exceed 50 percent in each game regardless of the rating played. Doubles should average 17 percent each game. Thanks, Ed Mandler

there are better versions. way too easy once u know technique and doubling for me.

The game is set up beautifully. On easy setting the game is too easy. Anything above that THE GAME CHEATS IN AN AMAZINGLY FRUSTRATING WAY. there must be something faulty with the game. Get the game if you are looking to learn the game and you are new. You can play easy and learn. If you are an expert you will come close to throwing your iphone against the wall a few times. THE DICE ROLLS WILL FRUSTRATE THE HELL OUT OF YOU.!!

Great interface, realistic feel, but I swear sometimes it seems to know what rolls are coming next—which, of course, would be cheating.

Dice results is definitely not even, no matter what maker says Ive done a statistical analysis of extended number of games. Definitely does not roll equally for both sides. The game plays fast with good action. It is fine if you dont mind loosing. But it is not great for learning because the computer gets so man miraculous rolls that it makes you play conservatively

UPDATE!!!!!! Its worse than ever. New update on medium. The computer is almost flawless. Im getting lousy rolls and it just keeps on chugging away and beats you and beats you. Not very entertaining at all. Btw Im an excellent player I keep it on med just to see if theres a chance to win it gets worse on the higher levels. I Want My $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Back NOW!!!!!!!
